I met Gary

This guy appears to be the real deal...he wants to get stuff done...he says does not want to be a politician but as a member of the Long Island 9/12 project he felt he had to run against Chuck Schumer. He knows that the Progressives are trying to create a socialist state and he wants to prevent this. He wants cuts in everything even the military and thats coming from a veteran. He only will do one term if that s what it takes. With the support of the Tea Party and 9/12 Gary got the delegates needed at the Gop Convention on the second vote...only because of the number of Tea Party people there to support him...He was not the "chosen one" of the NYGOP ...he is the chosen one of the great conservatives down in Long Island that know this guy...so please go see what he is all about and tell your friends and family...Dump Chuck and vote Gary!

Chris Gibson for Congress

From his campaign website www.chrisgibsonforcongress.com
Chris Gibson grew up in Columbia County in the town of Kinderhook. He was the Point Guard and Co-Captain of Ichabod Crane’s High School Basketball Team and went on to graduate magna cum laude with a BA in History from Siena College while earning a ROTC Commission there.

Over the course of his 24 year Army career Chris rose to the rank of Colonel and deployed 7 times; including 4 combat tours to Iraq, and separate deployments to Kosovo, the Southwestern US for a counter-drug operation, and most recently (just prior to his retirement) to Haiti where he commanded the 82nd Airborne Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team during the opening month of that humanitarian relief operation.

Other key assignments included tours teaching American Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, serving as a Congressional Fellow with US Representative Jerry Lewis (R-CA), the Chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, and completing a Hoover National Security Affairs Fellowship at Stanford University.

Among his military decorations are 2 Legions of Merit, 4 Bronze Star Medals, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge with Star, the Master Parachutist Badge and the Ranger Tab. For their actions in Mosul in support of the first national election in the new Iraq, his Battalion Task Force earned the Valorous Unit Award. For their actions in Tal Afar during the 2nd and 3rd national elections in Iraq his Battalion and the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment were recognized for excellence by President George W. Bush and earned a 2nd Valorous Unit Award.

Chris holds an MPA and PhD in Government from Cornell University and is the author of Securing the State, a book on national security decision-making published in 2008. Chris has been married to Mary Jo, a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, for over 13 years and they have three children: Katie (12), Maggie (10) and Connor(8). Their home is in Kinderhook where Chris is active in several civic organizations including the American Legion, VFW, NRA, and the Knights of Columbus and St. John’s Church of Valatie

Dine and Dash

Our Founding Fathers felt government should never ever put future generations into debt.

We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds...[we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our miss-managers to account but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers... And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for[ another]... till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery... And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.
- Thomas Jefferson

Reverend Wright is BACK!

Remember Reverend Jeremiah Wright? During the presidential campaign we found out he said some controversial things. He was the Obama family spiritual advisor, Barack's mentor...he married Michelle and Barack, baptised their girls. Obama said, "I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother . . . ." (but eventually threw him under the bus for the Presidency). Also, Obama said he had never heard anything controversial in the church. Well, the Reverend is back and he apparently was invited to speak at the
60th anniversary of the Marxist Magazine, Monthly Review.

enjoy!

is it a coincidence that the President's mentor as a child was a communist, that he liked to hang out with the Marxists in college, that his reverend of his church, who inspired him to write the book, "The Audacity of Hope" is now a confessed Marxist and most of the people hired by him to work in the White House are either out right Communists or Revolutionary Radicals that are inspired by Mao (who by the way killed 80 million people). ...awfully big coincidence hmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe that Joe the Plumber guy was right.

I hate Florida!

After yesterday's election, I am starting to lose hope. If McCain wins the Republican nomination, I really don't even know if I am going to vote. This guy is a pitiful excuse for not only a politician but also as a conservative. I don't care if he was a war hero, so was Benedict Arnold and betrayed our country big time! He is against free speech and tax cuts. He is also for amnesty for illegal immigrants and supports taxes for global warming. He has no experience running anything, yet criticizes Mitt Romney saying he has no experience. Mitt Romney made Staples and Domino's Pizza into very successful businesses and he saved the Salt Lake City Olympics from completely having to shut down. Were the people of Florida are blinded by McCain's lies? He claimed Romney criticized the military and wanted to pull out of Iraq, which were horrendous lies. This guy is so arrogant he is pointing to his POW bracelet in his TIME magazine picture. He makes me sick...this is going to be a long week waiting for Super Duper Tuesday (or whatever the lame brain media is calling it). Hopefully Romney freaks him out during the debate tonite which is at 8pm...McCain has a horrible temper, it is almost fall of your funny to watch this guy get stirred up. I'll keep you posted!
