For their actions in Tal Afar during the 2nd and 3rd national elections in Iraq his Battalion and the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment were recognized for excellence by President George W. Bush and earned a 2nd Valorous Unit Award.

Chris holds an MPA and PhD in Government from Cornell University and is the author of Securing the State, a book on national security decision-making published in 2008. Chris has been married to Mary Jo, a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, for over 13 years and they have three children: Katie (12), Maggie (10) and Connor(8). Actually I don't know if this is a coincidence but Al Gore himself can answer your polar bear question, they are in fact not dwindling, their numbers have increased.

I personally believe its a scam because most scientists believe the warming is caused by the Sun(not people) and its pretty much settled down now for the past 10 years and is now cooling again...and if you really can't do anything about it even if we poured every dollar we had. There is no way to stop the Sun...HELLO!

Maybe Obama should remember this when he is doing stump speeches from Lincoln's birthplace and also when he thinks the Republicans will use race to stoke fear in the upcoming election.

Apparently in Harvard Law School they failed to teach Obama about the history of America and the Republican Party. The Republican Party was founded primarily because the other partys, the Democrats and the Whigs refused to abolish slavery. Even when hundreds of thousands of people were dying and our country was almost completely in ruin, the Democrats refused to compromise because Lincoln would not let them keep their slaves. During the re-election of Abraham Lincoln, race was used to discredit the Republicans, you can see the racist election signs at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Many are so racist I refuse to even repeat what many of them said. After the war was over more than 600000 people were killed, making it the most bloodiest war in United States history. I think Senator Obama might want to take an American History class at his local Community College or maybe pick up a book on Lincoln.

Authorities have confirmed that the the driver of the van that struck the school bus that killed 4 students on Tuesday is an illegal alien.

Officials at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement are checking to see where she came from and how long she’s been in Minnesota. FOX 9 has also learned that the name she gave to police, Alainiss Morales, is an alias.

23-year-old Alainiss N. Morales was taken into custody on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation. She was arrested by the State Patrol Thursday afternoon and is being held in Lyon County Jail. County Attorney Rick Maes told the Marshall Independent charges could come later Thursday or Friday…The van was driven by Alianiss N. Morales, 23, of Minneota. The Fox 9 Investigator found Morales pleaded guilty in Chippewa County in 2006 to driving without a valid license.

State Patrol officials said Thursday they were not immediately able to confirm if Morales was unlicensed, nor could they confirm whether Morales ran a stop sign. Lt. Mark Peterson said that was still under investigation, but that the investigation was “moving forward very quickly.”

The school bus was carrying 28 students. Cottonwood Fire Chief Dale Louluagie confirmed that 3 fatalities of the crash died immediately upon impact and the fourth victim died around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Mitt Romney made Staples and Domino's Pizza into very successful businesses and he saved the Salt Lake City Olympics from completely having to shut down. Were the people of Florida are blinded by McCain's lies? He claimed Romney criticized the military and wanted to pull out of Iraq, which were horrendous lies. This guy is so arrogant he is pointing to his POW bracelet in his TIME magazine picture. As President he conserved over 230,000,000 acres of land for park area in our great country. We as Americans have recycled since I was a little kid and have always been mindful of littering and taking care of the Earth. Al Gore and his Environmentalist WACKO friends want us to pay a tax to help the Earth...awww too bad the money just goes to other nations to buy stuff and not actually fix or help the environment. If you have been told this before let me tell you again...THIS IS SOCIALISM!!!! YES the same crap as Lenin and Castro, they want a wealth so they can redistribute it. The UN is trying to pass a Global Tax and it will affect you and your family even if you are so poor here in America you eat Ramen noodles and Mac & Cheese everynite (remember as Americans we are richest 10 percent in the World whether on welfare or not). These WACKOS are targeting the world's income producers and we, 'YES', we are the number one country to target. Yes, I know that we didn't sign the KYOTO treaty and this was supposed to make the world's temperature drop. Well the news is Clinton didn't sign that treaty because he knew it was B.S. and AL GORE didn't get brainwashed with this nonsense til he was out of a job and looking for some acting work. The countries that did sign KYOTO have not reached the goals of air pollution as stated by the treaty and the whole thing as proven bogus. By the way even Japan, the home of Kyoto the city, did not meet the stardards it set for itself. The way KYOTO works for example: is one country, say Germany, produces 6 carbon credits, they can buy 3 carbon credits from China if they help with the pollution there. The big SCAM is China builds like one coal plant a week so countries that need the carbon credits like Germany can get credits back tearing them down. China makes hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars to tear down the same plant they built a week ago (also they did not take part in KYOTO. This carbon credit system is now catching on, not only in the KYOTO treaty, even our food and other companies services have caught the carbon credit craze. Companies, including one Al Gore is working for, are selling carbon credits to corporations and individuals to redistribute wealth in other countries and individuals, not to CONSERVE or PROTECT the environment. This is Socialism and is becoming almost a new fanatical religion with these Wackos. Obviously the Earth is warming, but I believe it is the natural process of the Earth or even the Sun (the giant bright object that may warm the earth, I know it sounds far fetched) that are making these very minuscule changes to the Earth's temperature and there us nothing really to freak out about. Just to calm those that are out there that may fear global warming, it is not the climate change you should be worried about but your pocket change (oh AND sorry to remind you of this ...TERRORISM & RADICAL ISLAM)...and remember this in our next election. They will tax the you know what from our wallets and for what, so we can buy washing machines for someone in Uganda or maybe a new Airport runway in Myanmar. I heard some of the money may go to new highways...sounds helpful NOT!!!

I hate these idiots like Al Gore who are proclaiming this new "religion" of Global Warming. They always use this word "CONSENSUS", which means they voted on it...Science cannot be voted on! The planet has gone through many changes, in the last century the warmest years were at the beginning, so why are we worried that our Hummer and light bulbs are causing it...TAX $$$$$$ It is all about raising our taxes, which gives the politicians in Washington more power over us. Oh and it wont't end there, the United Nations will tax us again because we use so much energy being the evil Americans that we are. With the recent going "GREEN" of some networks many real weathermen are really getting ticked off.

The Founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman recently came out and proclaimed Global Warming as the Biggest Scam in History. Here is the article and below it the link in which he lists tons of sources regarding Global Warming. I will aslo include the article from Newsweek from 1975 when the CONSENSUS of scientists believed we were heading into the next ice age.

It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming... It is a SCAM.

Some scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long-term scientific data back in the late 1990's to create an illusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental wacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.

Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda.

Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15-minute documentary segment.

I do not oppose environmentalism. I do not oppose the political positions of either party.

However, Global Warming, i.e. Climate Change, is not about environmentalism or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you "believe in." It is science, the science of meteorology. This is my field of life-long expertise. And I am telling you Global Warming is a nonevent, a manufactured crisis and a total scam. I say this knowing you probably won't believe me, a mere TV weatherman, challenging a Nobel Prize, Academy Award and Emmy Award winning former Vice President of United States. So be it.

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril.

I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. As temperatures rise, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern will all fail to occur as predicted, and everyone will come to realize we have been duped.

The sky is not falling. And, natural cycles and drifts in climate are as much if not more responsible for any climate changes underway.

I strongly believe that the next twenty years are equally as likely to see a cooling trend as they are to see a warming trend.

First Medal of Honor Given

Driving home today I heard that President Bush gave out the first Medal of Honor and I thought to myself it has to be for someone on Navy Seal Team 10 and sure enough it was. I just read the heroic story of this group written by its lone survivor Marcus Luttrell, suitably named, "Lone Survivor". The recipient of the Medal of Honor was Marcus' best friend Michael Murphy. He risked his life to radio in help and was shot numerous times in the process and still managed to say thank you to the person on the other end. Then he continued fighting even with all his battle wounds including gunshots to his head. He has now been honored with the military's highest honor. His parents are from Long Island, NY and must be very proud. The military has set up a web page and I also have attached the CNN article.

Federal authorities in Dearborn may have stopped a planned terrorist attack and mass murder before it happened. Police got a tip that a 26-year-old medical student was planning an attack, and when they stopped him in a Dearborn park, he had an AK-47 assault rifle and was dressed in black military style clothing. He also had black makeup on his face as he climbed into an SUV with the loaded weapon. The man was arrested and is facing several felony charges. Police say he has a website where he claims to be a member of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

RAMADI, Iraq - When members of the government of Anbar Province met with President Bush last week, they presented him with a letter dedicating their success in wiping out Al Qaeda here to the victims of Sept. 11

The letter, which was obtained by the Daily News, was signed by Anbar Governor Mamoun Sami Rashid, Provincial Council Chairman Abdul-Salam Abdullah, and Sheik Sattar abu Risha, the sheik credited with beginning the Anbar Awakening.

"In the month when the terrorists attacked the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, we dedicate the victory of Anbar Province to the families of the victims who suffred that criminal act," the letter said, which was addressed directly to Bush.

"With the help of the president of the United States, we pledge to continue to cooperate and communicate with you to continue to get good results," the letter said.

Bush traveled to Anbar Province to highlight the dramatic decrease in violence there, just days ahead of the progress report that Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker presented to Congress Monday.
